Right on the Marcellis wharf in Liège, alongside the Meuse River, this project is a reflection on the insertion of landscape elements into the cityscape. Conceived by a programmatic layering composition, the landscape becomes an actual construction material for The Faktory.
Open spaces for startups will be found on the ground floor. Moving upward, three levels of living space will find their place. At the very top, a canopy will offer an inhabited landscape occupied by a modernist pavilion overlooking the Meuse with nonchalance.
The center of the site features a lush landscape reconstituted by a hyperbolic paraboloid (PH), itself generated by parametric design.
