| talk | A2M goes to Japan & returns to Australia

Can we regenerate the environment?

A2M continues to share examples that demonstrate how a decarbonized future is not only possible, but has actually already started.

Through these new international lectures, Sebastian Moreno-Vacca will explain how Brussels became the first region in the world to make passivehouse mandatory. He will also showcase projects that have achieved regenerative design or permacities all over the world.

The first conference will take place within the framework of a seminar organized by the Belgian Embassy in Japan. In fact, this country has just declared a plan that should make the Japanese economy CO2 neutral by 2050.

The second conference in Sydney will be held in conjunction with a student competition for the redevelopment of the North Arm Cove community. In the context of this year’s 100th anniversary of the famous suburb designed by Walter Burley Griffin and his wife, Marion, the aim is to explore what could be the city of tomorrow that meets the challenges of today’s changing world.
