Time for a fresh start! On November 8th we will share our experiences regarding the renovation of the Linné tower at the seminar « Renovation of towers in Brussels: a different renovation strategy for each tower » organized by Brussels Environment. Siegfried Smeets, our creative manager, oversaw the entire construction phase of the Linné-Plantes project and will explain the different design strategies put in place. This project involved the renovation of a social housing tower block which dates back to 1958. The renovation combined a global and integrated approach which allowed for a new relationship with the surrounding area. The modernist character of the Linné building continues to be a landmark in the area.
